American visionary painter who draws deeply from the mythic and ancestral well of her Persian roots.
Anahita Narimani is an American visionary painter whose work blends mythic symbolism, mystical narrative, and emotional alchemy. Working primarily in gouache and watercolor, she transforms personal healing into luminous imagery - divine messengers, immortal birds, chalices, and archetypal figures that emerge from an inner world shaped by Persian ancestral memory.
Her paintings explore themes of rebirth, resilience, and spiritual transformation. Each piece begins as an intuitive flash - an image arriving fully conceptually formed - then develops through deliberate layering, precise detail, and symbolic composition. Anahita's artistic practice is both therapeutic and transcendent, using painting as a bridge between lived experience and the mythic realm.
Her work has garnered strong early public engagement, and she is currently building a collection that merges traditional Persian motifs with contemporary visionary art. Anahita is also the founder of Sohlful Studio, her emerging creative brand focused on storytelling through fine art, prints, and illustrated concepts.
Rooted in devotion to craft, narrative meaning, and ancestral imagery, Anahita creates art that invites viewers into a world where fire and water, destruction and healing, intuition and symbol all dance together.
