Bridget’s music is influenced by classical, Mexican folklore, electronic, cumbia, and pre-Hispanic structures. This blend of old and new inspires her desire to create sounds that cross boundaries and borders. Her hopes are that listeners resonate with these sound blends while appreciating the ancestral beats in a metaphorical journey of appreciation and one-ness. Growing up in Los Angeles with so much diversity and coming from Mexican parents has influenced Bridget’s unique style. Her lyrics speak of times where humanity has an opportunity to appreciate themselves and each other. Her bilingual (English and Spanish) approach to songwriting resonates with other Spanish-speaking peoples and encourages others to seek understanding. Bridget comes back to her music after a silent moment. She comes back to heal.
