I was raised in Hastings Minnesota, a town founded at the confluence of the Mississippi and St Croix Rivers. Minnesota is blessed with many dramatic views that have inspired my oil and pastel painting. Work opportunity brought me to Fergus Falls. Retirement in 2016 gave me a chance to follow new creative passions. I have studied art with John Charles Cox at M State, Fergus Falls campus, and benefited from many student and local artist conversations. I feel blessed to be living in such a beautiful part of the country and to be engaged with so many people that cherish our mutual hometown.
