I am the author of Ordinary Omens, a forthcoming poetry collection set for release on September 15th through The Poetry Box® Press. Currently, I serve as a library aide at the Fergus Falls Public Library and work as a freelance writer. My unique experiences also include performing as a mermaid, and participating in various choral groups.

Originally from Morris, Minnesota, I hold an MFA in Creative Writing with a Poetry Emphasis from Eastern Washington University in Spokane, WA. My poetry has been featured in various print publications including; Miracle Magazine, The Pacific Northwest Inlander, Spokane Coeur d’Alene Living Magazine, and various online publications such as Devilfish Review, The Artistic Muse, The Lake, Fox Adoption Magazine, and Plants & Poetry Journal.

I also have five years of experience working as a journalist for two different Inland Northwest publications, The Spokane Journal of Business and the Tribal Tribune. I also have experience working in the role of IT Communications Specialist at Gonzaga University, where I focused on enhancing internal department communications and supporting end-users with campus technology.

My professional journey reflects a deep commitment to both factual news reporting and creative storytelling. I specialize in writing, reporting, and artistic performance, leveraging my diverse background to create engaging and impactful narratives.

I am hoping to meet other local writers and work with them to create spaces where we can share our work and inspire one another.
