In 2004 I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Studio Art. Since that time I have been active in displaying my artwork in galleries, restaurants and coffee shops in West Central Minnesota. I use oils, acrylics and watercolors to paint landscapes and scenes from beloved local landmarks. I have also enjoyed teaching art classes for the Kaddatz gallery, area public schools, and private art students. Since 2016 I have also been working as an illustrator and have completed two full-colored Bible story books that are distributed by missionaries in Chad, Africa. My illustration work is created using linoleum block printing with oil-based ink. The black and white linoleum prints are printed on watercolor paper and color is added with watercolor paints.
