From childhood I have been intrigued by nature and the world around me and have drawn and painted those things that fascinate me. My major in Graphic Design at ENMU led me to a career in design that took me from Portales, NM to Denver, CO and then to Minnesota. While I find great satisfaction with my career art, my true love is painting just for the joy. I have worked with many mediums, but presently I am exploring oil pastels and particularly using them to capture faces that I find interesting. My work has been exhibited in regional galleries in Colorado and Minnesota, but most importantly, in the homes of people I love.
